Curtis Stigers Real Emotional

I Will post my review on this CD soon, cause I have to sleep now. Bye

Bo.Da Plays Madonna

This Cd I just bought 2 days ago, It just a coincidence that I picked this album. I thought this album just another lite jazz of Madonna Song. But I was wrong, when I heard this CD, I'm so amazed with the recording quality , The clarity so good and the vocal very thick. The sound feel wide and the dynamic of Saxophone, Clarinet very live.

The Jazz style applied very good especially the La Isla Bonita , Into The Groove very upbeat and has a high taste too. Another song Papa Dont Preach, Frozen, Like A Virgin have a nice version too.

This CD I reccomend for every Jazz Enthusiast and also Madonna Fans, this CD could be your first CD to enter Jazz World

Tony - DeSare - Last First Kiss

This Second Album of Tony DeSare I got 4 month ago, This album is a celebration of swing jazz genres. Also features Bucky Pizzarely in Guitar, added a smooth feel in Swing Style

Featured Kiss (Prince) that's wrapped in Swing Style (the first time swing variation that i've heard), this song is also featured on Happy Feet Movie but in R&B Variation. Although in Swing style this song does'nt lose it heat, even still hot but in elegant way.

You'd Be So Nice and They Can't Take That Away from Me presented in smooth moderate tempo with a energetic voice of Tony DeSare. The rest of the Album is presented in slow tempo and romantical style..

Recommended for Swing Lover.

Pink Martini - Hey Eugene!

This is the latest cd that I bought last week. This is the third artwork of Pink Martini Group that concentrate on Latin Music, but in this album you'll find a lot of different music style in one CD.

Starting with the American style song Everywhere, then a taste of South America oldies latin Tempo Perdido the 1934 song of Carmen. A Wasabi taste on Taya Tan, a jazzy upbeat on Hey Eugene, a taste of Arabian Song Bukra W'Bado and many other region

This workart is ended by Tea For Two that features duet of China Forbes and Jimmy Scott The legendary Jazz Singer. This song is simple and touching.

The Quality recording of this recording is very good in Clarity both Instrument and Vocal, only a little lack of Bass in my oppinion.

If you like a new experience in Music, try this album, the music is not just ordinary, but Extraordinary

In The Name Of Love by Freddy Cole

If you never heard of Freddy Cole, try to think about Nat King Cole. Hmm, what's the connection??? Yes you are right, Freddy Cole is the younger brother of the most famous Nat King Cole (12 years younger). Freddy Cole has developed an alluring style all his own; his music is a little smokier, a little jazzier, and has a bit more swing

This album is the fine artworks from Telarc Recording 2003 (recorded in 2002). It's full of the smoky sound of Freddy Cole, thick and alluring with the deep emotion expressed.

Have I Told You Lately on the third track will sooth your feeling with the comforting arrangement.

The upbeat In The Name Of Love is another shuffle style rhytm presented in medium tempo. In the end part Cassandra Reed duets with Freddy Cole make a cool combination and make our emotion to climax.

Remember Me duets with Jane Monheit comfort us with flowing arrangement that make me feel in paradise

There's even a song created by Freddy Cole's Son Save A Little Time For Me. This song is medium upbeat tempo and quite unique.

Ended by I Love You touch my heart deeply (makes me remember of my past time).

All songs from this album talk about love and show a different emotion of love. If you like to enrich your experience of love song, this album is highly reccomended.

When Harry Met Sally OST by Harry Connick Jr

This CD is one of my Favourite CD. Recorded in 1989 by Harry Connick Jr. One thing that excite me most is the recording quality of this CD is very excellent, only I feel that gain is too little but it's normal in that era.

It's a coincidence that the the title of the movie identical with the Composer Harry Connick Jr.

It Had To Be You at first track start with a good orchestration then go into swing feel with the lush thick voice of Harry Connick Junior.

The second song Our Love Is Here To Stay filled with combination of the Saxophone and the energized vocal of Harry Connick Jr.

We will also have intrumental track on Stompin' At Savoy, Winter Wonderland, Autumn in New York, and It Had To Be You (trio).

Winter Wonderland is impressed me so much with the style of Harry Connick Solo Piano that heard to me like a false note but still in harmony

In short I describe that this album genres is Standard Jazz, and if you like Swing Jazz, this album I personally highly recommend it. It's a example of Fine Standard Jazz presented in Movie Style.
